Mari, le nouveau logiciel de peinture 3D de The Foundry et issu des outils développés en interne par Weta sur les films District 9, The Lovely Bones et Avatar. Mari permet de peindre sur des modèles 3D à des résolutions de textures jamais atteintes. En plus de ce potentiel, il permet également de s'affranchir de la création de coordonnées de Mapping (UVs) et donne ainsi le plein pouvoir aux artistes 2d et 3d, sans avoir à se préoccuper des contraintes techniques habituelles.
Annoncé le 16 juillet 2010, MARI ne fonctionne pour le moment que sous Linux, mais une version Windows est en préparation.
